   …A unique tree

In the outlying country of Essaouira a tree abounds which is endemic to southern Morocco Called "tree of iron", it is the argan tree, Oleaginous still unknown by the rest of the planet. This wild tree grows completely to the will of the caprices of Nature which nevertheless endures recurrent drought.

The argan or the tree all to make, as some name it, plays a primordial environmental and socio-economic role :

              - It participates in the fixing of soils and acts as a buffer against the progress of The desertification
              - It produces a walnut, the argan, the basis for the manufacture of argan oil main source of incomes for
 dfdfdsfd local community.  
              - It is a source of fodder for the herds of caprins.

    …An ancient know how

         Since centuries, the Berber women of the Atlas transmit from generation in generation the ancestral gestures of the tradition of extraction of the oil of argan : the pickup and the drying of the fruits, the crushing of the walnuts, the torrefaction and the grinding of the almonds, and finally the malaxage of the dough to extract oil from it. These manual operations are accomplished exclusively by the Berber women who work an average of eight hours to extract one litre of this incomparable oil.
